Luca Francesconi is the winner of the Illy Present Future Prize at Artissima16
Present Future is a showcase for the public and critics alike, where they can discover the latest trends on the international art scene. The 18 young artists selected from around the world by a Committee of Curators has been presented by their galleries in a special exhibition space at Artissima 16.
A Jury of international curators and critics - composed of Jens Hoffmann, director of CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts of San Francisco, Hans-Ulrich Obrist, Co-Director, Exhibitions and Programmes at Serpentine Gallery, London and Alexis Vaillant, independent curator and founder of Toasting Agency, Paris - assigned the award of 10.000 euro “illy Present Future” Prize to Luca Francesconi.

KALLAT #1 is out
KALLAt is Fluxia’s editorial project. Printed in a limited edition of 400 numbered copies, it is conceived as a speculative expansion of the gallery exhibitions, featuring the collaboration of the artists involved.
The first issue is dedicated to Fluxia’s first exhibition, Double Hunchback with Merlin James and Emmanuelle Lainé and contains an interview by the italian journalist Giorgio Arfaras to Mr. Spengler, the signature of the economics column for Asia Times.
